IIRC, there was a problem in 7.3 - 7.3.2 that tended to provoke this
failure. It's repaired in 7.3.3 and later. If you want to stay in
the 7.3 series rather than upgrade to 7.4, I would *strongly* recommend
moving to 7.3.6.
