I am more than happy to offer an apology if you or others are offended.

I didn't say anybody that had already registered was dishonest, and I
certainly don't think it either. My words do not imply those things.

My tone was "annoyed", when discovering I would not be eligible to vote,
not because I am above anyone else but because I hope to be equal. I
doubt my vote will alter the outcome, but it was a right I would like to
have exercised. My point was that waiting 4 weeks does not do anything
to stop the elections being rigged, it is just an annoyance for those
who have for whatever reason not read the rules. Having those
precautions in place tells me that someone thinks there was a danger the
elections would be rigged, since 4 weeks is not really a test of
dedication. When I raise a discussion about that precaution it should
not be taken as an insult from me, any more than the existence of the
precaution itself is an insult to either of us from the whoever made the
rules.

It's important to me that we have good activists in place; I think we do
and will continue to do so, so I am happy on that point and will say no
more.
