Hi,

I typed in the shell:

/usr/bin/postmaster -D /var/postgresql/data

And I got:

WARNING: dup(0) failed after 3196 successes: Bad file descriptor
LOG: database system was shut down at 2004-07-31 00:52:07 AUSEST
LOG: checkpoint record is at 0/9DDFE0
LOG: redo record is at 0/9DDFE0; undo record is at 0/0; shutdown TRUE
LOG: next transaction ID: 536; next OID: 17142
LOG: database system is ready

Any idea what's going on?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Dan
