Hello,

The core team has released pgaccess 'weekly' release 5. This is
basically two weeks after the release 4, that is why 'weekly'. The idea
is not to release every week, but regularly.

You can get it form -

http://www.pgaccess.org/wiki/index.php?page=DownloadPgAccess

The more impatient can access the CVS of course, but there things not
always work.

Most of the work recently has been done by Bartus, Brett and Chris
(alphabetically), though the others have had their important place too.

Something interesting for this release - Bruce Momjian's PgMonitor is
integrated and now distributed with PgAccess, can run as plugin under
Server menu or standalone.

For those who do not know, the 'weekly' releases are releases on the way
from pgaccess 0.98.7 to 0.98.8 that is expected to be released together
with PostgreSQl 7.3 and will be the most major release of pgaccess for
more than a year.

The project has been great and I would like to thank everybody who has
contributed and is contributing. And also to everybody who have used it
and have asked 'stupid' questions that have helped many enhancements and
fixes to happen.

Best,

Iavor

PS My favourite project - the BusinessExchange -

http://www.pgaccess.org/wiki/index.php?page=BusinessExchange

has hard time to take off. If someone has energy to have a look there -
the PointOfSaleInventoryControl sounds as a pretty way to use the
pgaccess core on the commercial field, but seems that pgaccess has no
enough critical mass. If someone is interested to contact John L.
Turner - and something comes out of that, will bring simile to my face.
