There's not a great deal of opportunity to do that well in the
installer itself - however the installer does add menu shortcuts to
the bundled HTML docs for pgAdmin and PostgreSQL, and an Installation
Notes doc which directs people to the mailing lists etc. if they need
help. Do you have any suggestions on what we might do better?

I am working on a new design for that page at the moment, following a
discussion I had with Ed on that very topic last week. My aim is to do
exactly what you suggest.
