I've been trying to install 7.0 on UnixWare 7.1.1 for the last 2 days.
Configure works OK as does the compilation BUT
src/backend/utils/adt/int8.c that gives this error:
acomp:error: "int8.c",line 0: internal compiler error: can't deal with
op CMP
Does anyone know what it means and where it does comme from??
Anyway, issuing cc -E ..... int8.c>int8.i and reissuing gmake goes to
the end.
install is ok, initdb too.
but if I connect locally, postmaster says there's no pg_hba record for
user postgres, host localhost database template1
Works OK through network (psql -h localhost template1)
pg_hba.conf is default with "local all trust"
Please help!
