Have configured PostgreSQL 6.5.2 on RH 6.0 as a database
server, already up working in a way using postODBC on a Win98
with WebSite for testing. Used PGAdmin to convert my Access97 DB
to Postresql, - beutifull. DB server and web server are communicating
over an ethernet card.
Have a third pc w/ Linux. How and what do I need to install to get
this future webserver (Apache)to comunicate via port 5432 to my db on
the server ?
I am using iHTML from Inline to communicate via the server to a
database manager that was included in the package.
Have tried using odbc.ini and get only:
"Missing server name, port or database name in call to CC_connect"
