But right at the moment I'm feeling fairly discouraged about it;
not that we couldn't do it, but that I'm not seeing a good reason
why we should. If a current AIX mainframe cannot outperform my
museum-grade PPC laptop, as per

then it's really hard to see why we should put significant
project manpower into supporting an oddball platform.
