I committed the fix that is mentioned here:

I am not releasing the updated packages, until I get some feedback from some
people. I tested this on RHEL 6,7,8 and Fedora 29,30 . RHEL 6 and 7 did not
complain, which is good.
Still, more eyes will be better.
