We will soon be holding our annual election for the PostgreSQL Europe
board. This time, Andreas Scherbaum will be stepping down. He, along with
other members of PostgreSQL Europe is invited to stand for (re)election.

The election timetable is as follows:

* Nominations open: Jan, 12th (Wednesday)
* Nominations close: Jan, 26th (Wednesday)
* Voting opens: Feb, 2nd (Wednesday)
* Voting closes: Feb, 16th (Wednesday)
* Result announcement: Feb, 17th (Thursday)

how the elections work, how to vote, and how to nominate a candidate to
stand for election.

NOTE: In order to vote in the election, you must be a confirmed paid member of
PostgreSQL Europe at the time of the election (Jan, 12th - Feb, 17th 2022). See

PostgreSQL Europe. It is recommended that all existing members check their
membership status as soon as possible to ensure it hasn't lapsed.
