Having this kind of information in each query would have saved me a lot
of time in the past :) +1

There is a tiny little issue in the last patch (qualifiers):

command.c:312:16: warning: assignment discards ‘const’ qualifier from
pointer target type [-Wdiscarded-qualifiers]
  312 |         curcmd = cmd;
