I would like to submit a session for translators at the PGConf.dev 2026
conference in Vancouver (https://2026.pgconf.dev/) Specifically, I'm
thinking about submitting this under the Community Discussions / Working
Group category (see https://2026.pgconf.dev/cfp)

My idea is that we could have an hour slot to discuss various things
about how to improve the translations tooling, recruit translators, make
the whole thing efficient and sustainable, and things like that.

I would also consider setting up a remote conferencing link for the
event, but that is outside of the scope of this conference submission.

The conference CfP wants a list of invited attendees. (For the "working
group" category, everyone can attend. The invited attendees are listed
only to help scheduling.) To get started, I looked at everyone who has
committed to translations in the last 24 months:

19 Alexander Lakhin
55 Álvaro Herrera
84 Dennis Björklund
3 Euler Taveira
39 Guillaume Lelarge
31 Kyotaro Horiguchi
6 Pavlo Golub
238 Peter Eisentraut
1 Sutou Kouhei
66 Temuri Doghonadze

Please let me know:

- If you would like to be listed on this CfP submission as an essential
attendee, or
- If you definitely don't want to be listed.
- If you know of anyone else to list, maybe one of your collaborators
who is not usually committing.
- If you probably won't attend the conference but are interested in the
remote conferencing link.
- Any other ideas.

This does not commit you to attend the conference, it just helps the
program committee to not schedule this session against other sessions
that you might participate in.

The deadline for submissions is January 16th, 2026. By that date, I
will submit this with the information I have and list everyone else as
possible but unconfirmed attendee.

Thanks.
