Swiss PGDay 2026: Announcement and CfS

Wir freuen uns, den **Swiss PGDay 2026** anzukündigen, welcher am
**25. und 26. Juni 2026** an der OST Ostschweizer Fachhochschule auf dem
Campus in **Rapperswil (SG)** stattfinden wird. Es wird zwei Tracks mit
Vorträgen auf Deutsch oder Englisch geben. Am Abend des ersten Tages wird ein
Social Event stattfinden, um den Teilnehmenden Gelegenheit zum Austausch und
Netzwerken zu geben.

**Vorträge**[1] können bis zum **7. April** eingereicht werden. Wir planen, das
Programm bis Ende April fertigzustellen.

Es wird eine Session mit Lightning Talks geben, für die Vorträge ab einer
Woche vor der Konferenz angemeldet werden können.

Postervorschläge können bis zum 8. Juni eingereicht werden. Die Poster werden
im Ausstellungsbereich ausgestellt und können optional zusätzlich während der
Lightning Talks vorgestellt werden.

Unternehmen haben die einmalige Gelegenheit, sich mit der Schweizer
PostgreSQL-Community zu vernetzen, indem sie die Veranstaltung sponsern.

Die Anmeldung zur Konferenz ist ab März möglich.

We are pleased to announce **Swiss PGDay 2026**, which will take place
on **Thursday 25 June and Friday 26 June 2026** at the OST Eastern
Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, Campus **Rapperswil (near Zurich)
**.

The two-day conference will have two tracks. Presentations will mainly be in
English, but there will also be some in German (with at least one in English in
each time slot).

To encourage networking in the community, a social event will be organised at
the end of the first day of the conference.

The **Call for Speakers**[1] is open until **7 April 2026**. We expect the
schedule to be available by the end of April 2026.

There will be a lightning talk session. Submissions for the lightning talk
session will open a week prior to the conference.

You can also submit a poster description until 8 June 2026. Posters will be
displayed in the exhibition area. We encourage poster submitters to present in
a lightning talk session as well.
