Hello, I have just installed Postgresql 7.3.4 from my Suse 9.0 disks. I went
in to the Suse System/Run Level editor and set Postgresql to start on boot.
It seemed to work OK. I've read so much I am now completely confused. To
add a user it somewhere said to go to "# su postgres" in order to add a
user. I tried this and it gave me "password:" which of course I did not
have. How do I set the "su postgres" password. I intend to use PGAccess,
mainly because it was on the Suse 9.0 disks as well.
Thank you for any help,
Bill.
