I've just tried to checkout a clean copy of the cvs tree, and it seems
that configure is missing a substitutions in Makefile.global.in, ie:

make: *** No rule to make target
`(at)abs_top_srcdir@/src/Makefile.global.in', needed by
`../../../src/Makefile.global'. Stop.

Any ideas?

Peter
