Hi,

I would like to do a simple implementation of a userspace fs. In
particular, it will be an archiver FS, which stores all metadata and
contents of some files in an SQL database (PostgreSQL).

I was wondering whether anybody has any suggestions as to which user fs
out there for 2.2 kernels would be easiest to modify. I don't think it has
to be able to process more than one requests at a time. (Maybe two.) It
doesn't have to be fast nor portable. It can be very slow and cumbersome
and bulky, as long as it is modifiable to do some SQL client stuff.

I've read about 2-3 years ago in the "PostgreSQL related projects"
database that once upon a time somebody had done this. Please point
fingers or raise hands.

Thanx,

Jan
