Dear Sir,
In RedHat 6.0 ,the RPM package connected with data is not
supplied. In this case we are to use "initdb " to create the necessary
template1 and other files.
We are unable to create this,when we issue the following command
as:
initdb -t -r DATADIR -l LIBDIR .
Our machine is pentium - I ,with 48 MB of RAM and @ GB hard disk. We have
loggedin to postgres account not root as suggested.
