I'm using egcs over a year and only one time I had a problem with compiling
early cvs postgres 6.5. But I suspect it was a egcs problem and after
upgrading to new snashot of egcs I never get a problem. Right now I use
1.1.2 release under linux x86 and postgres (6.4.2, 6.5cvs) without
any problem.
