i'm having an odd issue where any tables i link through access are read
only? odbc in general and permissions seem fine ( i tried a couple other
odbc clients real quick and they were able to edit the tables just find )
.. and i was wondering if anyone else had any experience w/ this?

i'm using access 2000 and i did notice that microsoft had a notice in
their support area that access required a unique index in the table when
connected via odbc to not be read only.. but i've tried that and it's not
helping me .. any ideas? thanks
