Dear PostgreSQL Europe friends,

The 2022 election for PostgreSQL Europe is now closed, and the full
results are published on https://www.postgresql.eu/elections/14/

A total of 70 persons voted in the election.

Many thanks to all who participated in the election!

As you can see, we run into a rare situation of a tied vote.

According to our elections rules (https://www.postgresql.eu/about/elections/)

"In the event of a tie, the tied candidates will be asked if one will accept stepping down. If none agrees to this, a re-election will be held including only these candidates. This re-election will commence as soon as possible and run for a period of one week"

Both candidates decided to stand for a re-election.

The re-election would be open for voting next Monday, 28th of February 2022 and will last one week until 4th of March 2022, 23:59 CET with the same candidates.

"Open for voting" email with all the instructions will be send on Monday, 28th of February 2022.
