Re: further to last e-mail

'Text as LongVarChar' is ticked, and the max char length is set to 8190
(default from install). The max length in my table of this particualar text
field is 587 characters.

How are you setting *Text As LongVarChar* option ?
And how big the actual size of the text field ?
