Functions or store procedure?

Hi!!
I am a newbie using postgre and PL/sQL but i have a question?
Can I do a file with few functions ?
I know about store procedure in oracle but I dont know if this works in
Postgres. I want to create a file with all my functions into. Can i do?

if I modify a function how can I run it with the new changes?
How can I load my "store procedure"?

What is a schema?
