How do I tell which actual timezone
settings will work within PostgreSQL?

The manual says to look in /usr/lib/zoneinfo
(actually it's /usr/shared/zoneinfo on my
system), but all I can see from there is
that any regular file that begins with
a capital letter is a valid timezone
name. And my real problem is there
are quite a few gaps--and not just in
the middle of the Atlantic, either!
I can go through the different regional
subdirectories, and the files there
seem to be timezone definition files,
too--but unlike the files in the main
'timezone' directory, these file names
don't appear to work as settings for
the timezone within PostgreSQL.
