Hi Team,

Please give me some pointers to resolve this issue.

--new-datadir=/pgdata/11/data -p 5432 -P 5433 --check

the probable cause of the failure.

directory
Is the server running locally and accepting

There seems to be a postmaster servicing the old cluster.
Please shutdown that postmaster and try again.
