We are seeking an exceptional Postgres SRE to join our team in any of our
US offices.
This is a hybrid remote position with WFH flexibility.

*Job Description:*
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for an experienced Database Site
Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Research & Development team. You’ll
be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the database
infrastructure that powers HRT’s globally distributed trading systems.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of optimizing
performance, scalability, and reliability.

*Required Skills:*

- 5+ years of experience in database and infrastructure engineering

- Expertise with PostgreSQL in production environments

- Experience with database infrastructure design, security, replication,
and observability (monitoring, alerting, logging)

- Strong proficiency with Linux, particularly Debian is a plus

- Proficient in Python programming with a solid understanding of data
structures and software design principles

- Familiarity with Redis and clustering solutions like Patroni

*Compensation:*
Annual base salary ranges from $175,000 to $250,000 depending on
experience, in addition to bonuses and company-paid benefits.
