Issue Installing PostGIS via Stack Builder on MacBook (Apple Silicon / ARM64) – Application Buffers/Freezes

I am writing to report an issue I am encountering while trying to install
the PostGIS extension using Stack Builder on a MacBook with Apple Silicon
(ARM64 architecture).

Issue Description:

Whenever I attempt to download and install the PostGIS extension through
Stack Builder, the application freezes or gets stuck indefinitely in a
buffering state. The installation process fails to progress, preventing me
from completing the setup.

Environment Details:

Operating System: macOS (Apple Silicon / ARM architecture)

Tool: Stack Builder

Component: PostGIS Extension

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this freezing behavior
or offer an alternative workaround to successfully install PostGIS on an
ARM64-based Mac?
