Tom,
On behalf of the entire PostgreSQL community, happy birthday!
It's hard to overstate your contribution to this project. You are one of
the most prolific committers in Postgres history, and your work touches
just about everything: the query planner, the type system, error handling,
and countless fixes that keep Postgres stable and performant. Your
dedication to the internals of Postgres is unmatched — a significant share
of every major release passes through your reviews and commits.
But it's not just about the code. Your presence on the mailing lists, your
patient answers, your depth of understanding, and your willingness to help
are what shape the culture of this project.
Wishing you good health, interesting problems (or calm releases — whichever
you prefer), and many more years of keeping the fire burning in Postgres.
Happy birthday! Join the thread and add your wishes in reply, everyone.

Regards,
Rachitskiy Andrey
