We are seeking *PostgreSQL DBA* with 2-5 years experience who will
contribute to new and existing products and services in an agile fast paced
environment. *Candidates should be prepared to learn new skills and
technology. *

*Primary responsibilities will be: *

● Managing PostgreSQL installations in CentOS linux environment

● PostgreSQL performance tuning

● Managing *SLONY-I installations*

● PostgreSQL query and index optimizations

● Working with application development team staff to ensure processes and
systems are in
place to accommodate database changes required by the development lifecycle

*Desired Skills & Experience*

● PostgreSQL 9.1 database administration

● experience with PL/pgSQL scripting

● SLONY-I 2.1 administration

● experience with UNIX shell scripting

● 2+ years experience with PostgreSQL (any version)

● 3+ years experience working in a UNIX environment

● 2-5 years relevant experience

● Ability to acquire new skills efficiently
