Has anyone managed to get the psqlodbc drivers to work with M$ Office (for
Mac 11) on OS X?
If I compile it and test with unixODBC the command line tools like isql
work just fine, Office on the other hand refuses to see the driver with
ODBC Manager or it fails to "something" (blank dialog, no output logs) with
iODBC's manager.
ActualTech's commercial offering works, although the trial appears to be
restricted to 3 three rows returned.
I'd much rather figure out how to get the open source drivers working and
put together a clear 'how-to' than have to pay for a commercial licence.
$35 Might not be much but it goes against the grain ;)
