That is not correct at all. PostgreSQL Europe does not accept financial
sponsors, and SPI certainly doesn't have a PostgreSQL sponsorship program.
Those are just two quick examples from the top of my head; I'm sure there
are more.
Secondarily, encouraging people to go directly to the NPO sites defeats the
purpose of allowing the NPOs to list their sponsors on the main website -
the whole point of the re-org of those pages was to help the NPOs
supporting the project offer a much more visible benefit to their
sponsors, as there isn't really any way to support postgresql.org directly.
