To recap: so far here is what I am bringing:
1. Folding chairs
2. Laptop (Windows 7/POSTGRES 9.1) -- Tomcat / Java --
There is plenty of space on the hard drive so whatever you wanted to run could be loaded; including a dual boot.
It does have a nice screen (17").
3. Orange power cord and a small UPS (never know what the power is going to be like).
Read the wiki articles.
What are we covering the table with?
Have we posted -- at the university / college / community college?
There does not seem to be any information on "handouts" except that these should be in a folder.
I am going to leave the t-shirts and banner in your court for now; difficult to discern from the wiki how to handled this.
I have a connection for custom t-shirts here in Seattle. A friend of mine has industrial embroidery equipment and
can run 24 units at a time. The shop also does all sorts of apparel printing. Also have family connections at SanMar
for blank tee shirts/sweat shirts etc.
Just let me know how I can help.

Lloyd, didn't you have a conversation with Josh about banners at one time?
Hmm, I've got to start collecting equipment, not to mention those elephant pins, to put to the side.

Good question. The traditional stuff has been flyers etc using the postgres elephant image. There are graphics, icons etc on the postgresql site that you can have a look at.

Now we're talking, that would be extremely useful. I should add that to my list of stuff I need to bring too.

Yup, definitely good to have, just in case

Well, I'm planning to bring my laptop but if I do get accepted for talks we'll need to have a couple of others. Got to figure out what it is we're putting on display too.

Excellent. What's the OS? What do you have on it right now?

Much appreciated :-)
