My apologies, it appears the following does work for me:

Cygipc 2.01-2
Cygwin 1.5.3-1
PostgreSQL 7.3.4-2

I thought for sure that when I installed it at least one of the -2 numbers
was a -1 but if I run setup now I get these exact numbers.

And in case my setup matters to anyone else searching the archives for help,
I'm running this on both a Windows 2000 Professional and XP Professional
workstation in an NT domain run by a Windows 2000 server.
