Hi,

You can use Cygwin (www.cygwin.com) to run postgresql on Windows. Cygwin is a Unix environment for Windows. You can compile from original source code; or you can install the Cygwin-Postgresql package. The second option is very easy. Just use the graphical interface that comes with Cygwin and the installation will be done automatically.

Also postgresql has a native windows version that is in alpha stage afaik. If this is what you've mentioned, then I don't know its location. It will be ready in 6 months they say....
