try it without yast and write us which files he couln't find at the
installation (maybe it's just a "dummy.s"-file)...

i have installed on my standalone pc all postgres packets with yast2.
now when i start postgres then i receive the message that postgres
can not find the needed files.

who knows, which system variables have to set and how to do it.
