Errors using odbc driver

Dear all ,

I have an application that gets data from a PostgreSQL database but I get the following errors:

LOG: could not receive data from client: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

And

unexpected EOF on client connection

I've set up pg_hba file to accept connections from several ips but I always get this error.

Any ideias?
