Hello,

we have some obscure problems accessing the database via ODBC driver
PostgreSQL Unicode on Windows 7/x64
While accessing a table, i get the error *invalid UTF-8 byte sequence
detected near byte 0xfc*
On two Windows 7/x64 clients accessing the same table is working fine. O
two other Windows 7/x64 clients i get this error. I assume any system
setting on the Windows 7/x64 clients is responsible for, but i have no
idea !

Used Environment:

* Databae server: Windows 2000 server with PostgreSQL 8.2, Database
setting is UTF8
* Client: 4 Windows 7/x64 clients with PostgreSQL Unicode
ODBC-Driver 8.01.02.00 installed with odbcad23 in SYSWOW64. All
default settings are used.
* Two Windows 7/x64 clients are working well
* Two other Windows 7/x64 clients produce this error

Can everybody give me a help ?

mit freundlichen Grüßen / best regards,
Josef Springer
