No, I don't think there is such a method.

1.10 won't be fixed, it's "too old". Did you try 1.12.3? and 1.14 beta 1
should be released soon, you should also try it.

I looked at the diff between 1.10.0 and 1.10.5, and there's nothing that
would explained what you see.
