Hello,

PGCon 2009 starts in just a few days. Again this year, the submissions
have been wonderful, and you'll be enjoying great talks and tutorials.
Tutorials start Tuesday. The talks start Thursday.

It's not too late to sign up: http://www.pgcon.org/2009/registration.php
is the place to start.

In this post:

- - sponsors
- - weather
- - auction
- - lightning talks
- - dinner, etc

SPONSORS
========

Thank you to our sponsors. Without their support, PGCon would not be as
great as it is.

EnterpriseDB
SKYPE
PostgreSQL Experts, Inc.
Aster
End Point
Noblis
Redpill Linpro
JFP Networks
4Linux

WEATHER
=======

Weather wise, the start of the week is cooler and some light rain. The
end of the week is sunny and warm. Full details here:

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0512

The walk from residence to the pub/talks is about 5 minutes. In the
evenings, you may want a light jacket or fleece.

AUCTION
=======

Remember to bring some cash to the closing session. We will be
auctioning off some very desirable items. All proceeds to charity.

LIGHTNING TALKS
===============

Want 5-minutes of fame? Submit a Lightning Talk! Send email to
'selena at postgresql.org' with your name and the title of your talk.

These should be fast, fun and informative talks related to PostgreSQL.
Announce a project, give a status update, share an insight! Selena will
request slides from you during the conference - PDF, Open Office or
Keynote formats preferred.

DINNER, ETC
===========

If you signed up for PGCon 2009 after 12 may, you may wish to read the
previous announcement regarding the EnterpriseDB dinner and some minor
schedule changes:
