PinPoint Research is seeking a web developer for contract with potential
for hire. This person will work to advance both PinPoint's client facing
sites, especially those involving reporting and charting, as well as
internal-facing sites and infrastructure support including SOAP and
related technologies. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small
company environment with an emphasis on the use of open-source and
freely-available software including Linux, PostgreSQL, Apache, PHP5,
Perl, Python and Ruby.

The successful candidate will be experienced with web fundamentals
(HTTP, HTML, XML, AJAX, SQL, CSS, Javascript...) and must be fluent in,
but preferably not limited to, PHP5.

Candidates should be experienced with secure coding techniques and the
use of frameworks, templates, toolkits, IDEs and revision-control
systems and will have input into the selection of tools and technologies.

Extra credit for any of the following: Linux, Apache and/or PostgreSQL
administration; I18N/L10N; automated creation of PDF, Excel and
PowerPoint exports; Flash development; familiarity with C, Bash, Perl,
Python, Ruby or Java; experience with BI and reporting
applications/tools; and experience with telephony applications
(especially Dialogic and VoIP).

A candidate transitioning to a full-time-employee must pass a background
investigation (SF-85P form/investigation for “Public Trust Positions”)
conducted by the Federal Government.

In business for over 20-years, PinPoint Research is a small established
company handling the data-collection and reporting requirements for many
of the country's largest market research firms. Employee benefits
include salary, medical/dental coverage and paid holidays and vacation.
