1. PostgreSQL DBA

We are one of the largest users of PostgreSQL and deal with terabytes of
data. We are looking for a talented PostgreSQL DBA to be part of our
Operations team.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor, script & maintain a large production and pre-production
PostgreSQL database infrastructure.
-Troubleshoot database issues and ensure integrity of data
-Suggest improvements and continually innovate and improve upon our
operational environment
-Work closely with our devel teams and DB consultants to provide
databases, tools and services as per requirements

Qualifications:

-Strong knowledge of Linux including configuration, shell, file system,
cron, etc. a must.
-1.5+ years of Postgresql or MySQL or similar db administration and
design a must.
-1+ years scripting experience – shell, perl or Python.
-Experience in database performance tuning, clustering, backup &
recovery, system architecture and design.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong work ethic
including teamwork, initiative, flexibility, and reliability.
-Bachelors degree in computer related field a must.
-Must be on call 24x7, in case operational issues arise.

2.Data Systems Engineers - Linux/Postgres (4 positions)

We are looking for talented Data Systems Engineers to be part of our
fast-paced Operations team.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor and maintain production infrastructure as part of the 24/7
on-call team
-Troubleshoot product and customer issues related to the data in our system
-Find out problems with our systems data and escalate it to appropriate
parties and get it fixed
-Help in guaranteeing SLA's to clients on the data delivery of our system

Qualifications:

-Strong knowledge of Linux including configuration, shell, file system,
cron, etc. a must.
-1+ years of programming/scripting experience in Python or similar
language a plus
-1+ years of SQL and database design experience highly preferred
-Strong knowledge of Internet and Web technologies (HTML, DNS, HTTP,
cookies, email, web servers, etc.) a must.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills & troubleshooting skills
-Strong work ethic including teamwork, initiative, flexibility, and
reliability
-Prior experience being on call 24/7 supporting a hosting environment
-Must be willing to work in shifts
-Bachelors in computer related field a must

We are looking for talented Senior IT Operations Engineers to be part of
our fast-paced Operations team.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor and maintain large production infrastructure as part of the
24/7 on-call team
-Monitor and maintain product deployments in production hosting environment
-Troubleshoot product and customer issues
-Define, follow, and enhance Operations processes

Qualifications:

-Strong knowledge of Linux including configuration, shell, file system,
cron, etc. a must
-3+ years of SQL and database design experience
-3+ years of programming/scripting experience in Python or similar language
-Strong knowledge of Internet and Web technologies (HTML, DNS, HTTP,
cookies, email, web servers, etc.)
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Must be able to effectively multi-task, prioritize and delegate work,
and be detail oriented
-Bachelors degree in computer related field a must.
-Must be on call 24x7, in case operational issues arise.
