banner. The revenues generated help <b>support the PostgreSQL
Project</b>, allocated as follows:</p>

! <li>50% of revenues generated will be used for a <b>PostgreSQL
Advocacy Fund</b>, under the guidance of the PostgreSQL Core Team.</li>
! <li>50% will be used to cover the infrastructure costs</li>
! </ul>
! <p>The sponsor banners will have three tiers:</p>

! <li>High Visibility
! <ul>
! <li>Viewed once per cycle</li>
! <li><b>Cost</b>: $100/mo -or- $270/qtr</li>

! <li>Medium Visibility
! <ul>
! <li>Viewed once every two cycles</li>
! <li><b>Cost</b>: $ 50/mo -or- $135/qtr</li>
! </ul></li>
! <li>Low Visibility
! <ul>
! <li>Viewed once every 4 cycles</li>
! <li><b>Cost</b>: $ 25/mo -or- $ 70/qtr</li>

! <p>Prices are in US Dollars.</p>
! <p>Current viewer estimates for the web pages is almost 1 million
impressions
! per month, and growing ...</p>

- <p>As we are not basing the system on impressions or clickthrus, and in
- order to keep the speed of the system at its max, we are not recording #
- of impressions. It is left to the sponsor to setup an appropriate URL for
- redirection that allows them to keep track of click-thrus through
their log
- files.</p>

- <p>This can be accomplished simply be adding a /?banner to the end of
a URL.</p>

- <p><b>Note</b>: A <b>cycle</b> is defined as each applicable banner
being viewed once. So, as an example, if there are two High and one Low
