dear sir or madam ---
this error still exists as of 1959z, just a few minutes ago.
while researching the mailing list archives for the release bug,
i decided to subscribe to -bugs.
i clicked on what i thought was the link and
was taken from the -bugs page to the -ports page.
going back to the -bugs page, i inspected the link more closely.
this caused me to look at the html source.
i find that the anchor for the -ports page is terminated,
not with "</a>", but with "</p>".
the offending location is easily found
by searching for the string "ports</p>",
which is unique in the page.
i confess to having smiled.
of course,
the concept of having a bug on the -bugs page may be an inside joke,
just to see who is paying attention.
if this is indeed the case, i heartily join in the merriment.
