Scarily, the current PC architecture is just a set of add-ons and
extensions to that of the original IBM PC model 5150.

I'm sure that an 8-bit ISA SoundBlaster card from 1989 would still
work in Linux.

Is "common sense" really valid?
For example, it is "common sense" to white-power racists that
whites are superior to blacks, and that those with brown skins
