Lists: pgsql-ports

6.5.1 on BSDI 3.1 (Intel Processor I believe).

This is a virtual server installation so I have to install
it in a sub directory in my home directory, namely
~/usr/local/pgsql

Installation apparently succeeded according to the logs.
initdb appeared to work properly. But when I go to start
the postmaster I get:

IpcMemoryCreate: shmget failed (Invalid argument)
key=5432001, size=1063936, permssion=600

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Chuck Weinstock
