On the other hand, can you imagine the reaction of the Java camp to an
idea like "why not rewrite JBoss in Tcl and PL/Tcl so that it fit's
nicely together with PostgreSQL, that'd be a blast!".

Tell you what, you'll get the finger ... and rightly so.
