Hi Guys,

Just watching this translations for press release back and forth and thinking
over the press release, it occurred to me that there is a missing point(IIRC)

7.4 has code in it to determine reasonable defaults while initdb'ing. Folks are
already reporting much improved performanc, partially thanks to this feature.

This will lead to much better out-of-the box experience for postgresql which
will no doubt help newbies.

I think this is a good enough features to be in press release. If this is too
late for press release, then in some other literature.

AFAIK, this hasn't been mentioned much. I think we need to drum it much more
louder from end users perspective.

Opinions?

Shridhar
