Try this:
select extract(year from date) from tablename;
select extract(month from date) from tablename;
select extract(day from date) from tablename;
select extract(hour from date) from tablename;
select extract(minute from date) from tablename;
select extract(minute from date) from tablename;
select extract(second from date) from tablename;
