Report on Postgresql, ver 6.5.1 on SGI Irix 6.5
Additional software:
installed SGI "freeware" containing many GNU tools including 'install'
/usr/freeware/*
installed Tcl/Tk in default locations
installed recent version of Perl
installed GNU readline library in /usr/local/
./configure
--with-includes=/usr/local/include
--with-libs=/usr/local/lib
--with-tcl
--with-tclconfig=/usr/local/lib
--with-perl
--with-CC=/usr/bin/cc
--without-CXX
I used the SGI native C-compiler.
I did not trial the C++ compiler.
I do not know if the '--with-tclconfig' option is needed.
The '--with-includes' and '--with-libs' is only needed to find 'readline'.
Regression tests (all passed except):
int2 .. failed
Failed for wording of error message
int4 .. failed
Failed for wording of error message
geometry .. failed
Failed for rounding error and reporting '-0' instead of '0'
abstime .. failed
tinterval .. failed
horology .. failed
All failed for special times. This is a problem in the OS time zones.
