Hello!

I've compiled Postgresql version 6.4.2 in a sparcstation 20 with
solaris 2.4.
I had to compile without c++ compiler because shen I tried with
cxx-compiler=gcc. was a file missing and the compilation fails...

I've installed Postgres and ran "initdb" succesfully, also I've
declared and sourced the environment variables LD_LIBRARY_PATH, MANPATH,
PGLIB and PGDATA.

But when I run: "postmaster -i" from "postgres" account I receive
the next message:

FATAL: StreamServerPort: setsockopt (SO_REUSEADDR) failed: errno=71
/usr/local/pgsql/bin/postmaster: cannot create UNIX stream port

As consequence, I can't use a createdb... :(

I don't have idea of what is happening, maybe you can help me.

Thank you very much.
