Hi friends:
I have PostgresSQL installed on my Linux (RH 5.1) box. I need a
fairly big database which is hosted in a Win NT Oracle Server. I'd like
to import it to my local Postgres Server.
I have looked for information on how to make such operations on
different places: FAQs, HOWTOs and diverse HTML docs accompanying the
software, but haven't found too much. Just using pg_dump with a script
shell.
Are there any direct way of doing the import? Any easier way to make
the import than using pg_dump?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Greetings,
Jose Manuel
